ArcGIS Maps points in different colours based on catgory column

hi

This is a sample of my data below.

When using the ArcGIS mapping visualisation, if i drag the postcdoe on to 'location' all the points are displayed around the country (UK) nicely. However, I would like the points to be different colours of my choosing based on the colour category column. This seems basic but I can't figure it out. Any help appreciated. thank you

Do you have any more examples of how to change the colour of the points on the Map? i can't find how to change them within PowerBI.

Do I have to add a legend to change the colour of the layers?

Hi @Anonymous

Please check if below articles could help you.Based on my test,it seems there's no better way to change the color based on catgory column in ArcGIS Map.I would suggest you use Map visual and drag catgory column to Legend.
