Applying RLS in power bi based on user login without having user table

Can we Apply RLS to data based on user login without having a user table ?

For ex when a user called abc logs in he can see data only with region='xyz'

Can we do this without creating a user table in power bi?

Hi, @sheetalshettiga

I guess that you are now creating Dynamic RLS which needs to create a user table first.

Please try to create  static RLS.You only need to  define roles and rules within Power BI Desktop, and then assign users to these roles in the Power BI service.
