Applied steps in Power BI

Hi All,

In Power Query, I have done some changes . Under Query setting -> Applied steps , it is showing me the changes name like

: inserted literels  then changed type etc.

When i select these changes to recheck what i did earlier via clicking on lets say  "inserted literels".Then it is not showing any code ,I want to check the code sothat i can get to know what I changed in inserted literels.

I think the code place is disable  in power query. how i can see code in power query?

Thanks,

Narender

There are 2 ways in the query editor:

  1. Under the Home ribbon click on Advanced Editor and you will see all of the code for the entire query
  2. Under the View ribbon but a check in the checkbox next to "Formula Bar".  This is the bar you seem to be describing as missing in your post.
