Appended data not unique

I have three separate xlsx data sources (total of ~200 rows / ~80 are unique); some columns appear on all three sheets and others are unique.  I have appended the data, some rows are duplicated, but not triplicated ......, see below for the column headers / repeat frequency.

I am still learning / new to PowerBI.  I did try merging the data previously but that did not work.

Is someone able to confirm that appending the data is the right route and if so, why I am seeing duplicates?  Or should the modelling be completed differently?

hi @Kpaffey ,

As far as I know, appended table is to append rows and merge duplicate columns.

For example:

If you want to remove duplicate rows please check following step:

4.PNG

Hopefully works for you.
