Append queries error: Name is already used

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to append the tables 'Inventory' and 'Intransit'. These tables both have column "Date". When I clicked apply, this message shows up.

Shouldn't PowerBI append the data based on columns? When there are columns with the same name, it should be stacked on top of each other right?

The table "Product" doesn't even have a date column. Could someone tell me why I got this error and how to fix it?

Thank you!

Yes, thats the conflict.
Date comes from Power Query and there is another definition as DAX Column.

Hi @mwegener ,

My steps are as below:

Append Inventory 1010-1020; Inventory 1510-1610; Inventory 3010-3610 into Inventory

Append In transit 1010-1020; Intransit 1510-3010; In transit remaining into In-Transit

Then append Inventory and Intransit

Hi @LinhNguyen,

Unfortunately, I do not see the problem.

Can you refresh the Power Query preview without errors?

@mwegener

Yes, when I refresh the preview, there was no error at all.

Hi @LinhNguyen ,

crazy!

I would try to disable the load for both tables.

Refresh the model.

And load the table again.

Hi,

is there a DAX calculated "Date" Column in the Inventory table?
