Appears the GUID and not the value

Hi,

I am a begginer in Power Platform.

I am trying to make a new report based con my CDS.

I have used many lookups to relate the different tables and so on. The problem is that when I want to make the report in Power BI, the values of the columns do not appear but the GUID.

Warehouse and Warehouse Zone are lookups to tables.

Thanks.

@Juapps ,The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
Appreciate your Kudos.

Hello, thank you for your @amitchandak.

I've solved the problem. When I get the data from the CDS, the columns that are "searches" do not display the value, but the GUID. The problem was that the relationships between the tables were not correct.

Here is a partial image of "Warehouse Table":

This is a partial image of the "warehouse zone" table:

As you can see, the "warehouse" column in the "warehouse zone" table is a lookup in the "store" table. That's why the GUID appears, isn't it?

First I made a relationship between the "warehouse" column (from the warehouse table) to the "id zone" column (from the warehouse zone table). In this way, the report will display the GUID and not the value of the store (which is only the name of a city) due to misuse of relationships.

The relationship must be made from the "warehouse" column (store table) to the "flowerwarehousezoneid" column as shown in the image. When you do this, the report will not display the GUID, but the value (in this case, the city name).

Hi @Juapps ,

Thanks for sharing,if your issue is solved, could you mark the reply as answered to close it?Thus many more people who have similar issues will find the solution.

Best Regards,
Kelly
