Hi Team,
Im still a newbie when it comes to DAX and would like to annualise a monthly fee by replicating an excel formula into powerbi.
The formula looks like this in excel:
( (monthly fee / number of days in month) * 365 ) / value of sales
I have tried variations of below but not getting the expected value.
Annualised fee = divide(calculate(sumx('monthly fee')/sumx(days per month)*365,), value of sales)
Appreciate the help!
Best,
Gus
Solved! Go to Solution.
If the fee is the same for shorter and longer months, then you can just multiply a single month by 12.
Annualised fee = DIVIDE ( 12 * [monthly fee], [value of sales for 1 year] )
