Hello,
My dates in power bi desktop work perfectly, same with reports online or when you export the data from power BI to excel.
However when trying when connecting excel with power bi (power bi analyze in excel), dates are not recognized at all (it offers dates like if they were text, sort A to Z).
I tried to put my computer in English US but issues continues. I have looked online quite a lot but have not seen solutions for this.
Does anyone encountered this and found a solution?
Thank you,
Raphaël
Like you can see I can only sort date A to Z and not by date.
I have tried to change my whole windows and excel in english usa but does not do the trick either.
Hi @Anonymous,
I have reported this issue to the Product Team: CRI 77356488. I will update here when I get responses.

Thanks a lot for your help!
Hi @Anonymous,
There is a workaround. Please try it out.
You can use =DATEVALUE() function on the date fields to make Excel see the new field as dates.

Dale
Hello,
Thank you for the answer. I tried on a Power BI model and SSAS model but unfortunately does not seem to work.
