Analysis Services ignore zeroes

Is there any way to get SSAS to not send rows with zero value measures? I'm building up a query that query folds to SSAS but the query pulls through lots of rows with zero in the measure's column.

When I filter that column for <> 0 the query takes a really long time to preview unless I buffer the table first. It seems really inefficient to get the server to send me all of these rows with zero in the measure column and filter out locally. Is there a cube function in M that allows you to filter these as part of the query fold?

hi, @Veles

When you use live connection to SSAS, you couldn't do any M in Edit Queries,

Usually, you could filter<>0 in the formula, And if you drag the measure into visual level filter to filter value <> 0.

Best Regards,

Lin

Hi Lin,

This is using import rather than direct query

Thanks
