Hi Power BI Community,
I am facing the following error while trying to browse Teradata tables in Power BI Desktop. I am able to login to Teradata from Power BI and even see the various databases (which are blanked in the attached screenshot) but when I expand one of them, the following error appears. Has anyone else faced the same problem?
Please note:
- The database itself is on premise
- I am able to load data from this database if I write a query in the 'Advanced options' box
- I am using 'DirectQuery' mode
- Power BI Desktop is Dec 2018 version.
- Tried unchecking "Navigate using full hierarchy" to no avail
- Tried unchecking "Enable data previews" to no avail
Thank you
@Anonymous,
Clear permissions in data source settings and try the latest version of Power BI Desktop.
