Alternate to Sankey Visual

Hi everyone

I am trying to have a similar functionality as a Sankey Visual but my Data has a lot of categories which is not rendering a very pleasing visual and is very hard to read and understand. I have a few filters which reduce the no of categories but still the number is too high. Can anyone suggest and alternate approach or a new visual.

Hi @Anonymous

Maybe a Treemap, Chord Diagram or Decompositiob Tree.  If you rovided some sampledata it might be easier to recommend something.

Phil

Thanks Everyone for your responses. I went ahead with Decomposition Tree.

@Anonymous You haven't given many details, but Grouping might help? For example if your categories are city names, you could group them by state or region to reduce the number? One way to group in Power BI is to right click on the column name in the fields pane and choose New Group.
