Align zeros not working when measure is always 0

Hi all,

I have a line and clustered column chart with the axis option "Align zeros" activated. The expectation is therefore that both the left and the right axis start always at the same value. This is always true except for when the secondary measure (dot) returns all 0's for a certain filter selection. Please see below:

a) Regular case, working as expected:

b) Not working as expected:

Obviusly in both cases the axis set up is the same:

I have found a very similar issue in this post, however it got resolved apparently by a new update. I'm currently working in the May 2020 version so this is not the case.

Anyone having the same issue? Any ideas?

Thanks

@Mario1000

This feature works fine with my test. Did you test whether it works properly when the secondary measure does not equal to 0. I could not reproduce your situation.

It would be best if you can provide a sample pbix since I could not reproduce your situation.

@Mario1000 , check if you can set the "Start" value of the Axis to 0.

Check if there is the same issue reported by other users.

You can report one, if needed

Hi @amitchandak ,

Yes I also tried this before but same result:

(The dots are all zeros, and as you can see the secondary axys keeps starting at -1)

I am having the same exact problem. Align Zeros works fine until the value is always zero, then align zeros does not work.

Did you solve this?
