Advanced editor to change source

Hello,

I want to change the source in my Power BI Desktop Report. I added some columns and rows in the Excel file used as source but they do not appear in Power BI. I saw that a way to change the source is from Advanced Editor but I don't find it in the Power BI Desktop. Is it not available for this free version?

Hi @diana66 ,

1. If you want to use the modified excel in power bi desktop, you can just use 'Refresh' option in Home ribbon instead of changing data source or reimport file.
2. If you want to find Advanced editor, you can follow these steps:
   • Home -> Transfrom data ->Power Query Editors -> Home -> Advanced editor
