Administer 'publish to web'

Hi, As Admin of our Power BI service how can I review anything that has been published?

We don't want to prevent publishing but need to be able to review all published items.

Using the Power BI API (http://docs.powerbi.apiary.io/#reference/report) I can list all report objects owned by a signed in Power BI user. If that signed in owner is the Admin will ALL reports (for our tenant) be listed?

Thanks

Hi @saj,

If I understand you correctly, you should be able to use Auditing with Power BI to monitor and investigate actions taken(knowing who is taking what action on which item in your Power BI tenant).

And the "PublishToWebReport" event will be logged every time that a report is Published To Web. For more details about using auditing within your organization, you can refer to this article.Smiley Happy

Thanks, I forgot to mention that we have a number of free users and audit is not available for free users.

Hi @saj,

If auditing isn't an option here in your scenario, I haven't been aware of any alternative ways to do it currently. Maybe you should submit your requirements on Power BI Ideas to improve Power BI on this feature.Smiley Happy
