Adjust row height of Table

Hi

I have created Power BI report with Table but in one of mine column there is string data which is too long and I want to show that also in report. If you look at below snap, column number 5 is having long notes and because of which user need to scroll down for looking at next row record. I want to adjust the height of row so I can show next row with minimal gap between two rows. and want to show Scroll on column 5 to go down for checking further text. I am expecting solution for both of mine requirements but Atleast any one of the requirement is possible ?

Hi @Anonymous,

Do you want to show your data like table hight in red?

If you want to get the output in red, you could trun off Word wrap.

For your second requirement, I'm afraid that is not support for table visual in Power BI currently. You could post your idea in Power BI ideas Forum and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.

Try a compressed layout. If that does not work there is probably an extra carriage return or line feed in your data which you may need to cleanup in power query data transformations. Are you showing multiple records in your example or just one? If it’s a single record with a very long text string then power BI may have a limitation on the number of characters it can display. If this is the problem You could split the column using LF or CR and then I pivot so you end up with multiple rows each containing snippets of the comment.
