Hello, I have a bar chart which has outliers in both directions which are screwing up the visual of my chart. I tried adjusting the y axis but it doesn't work. What I want is for the outliers to just go off the chart in either direction so that my values in the normal range are easier to see. Does that make sense? Thanks!
Hi @Anonymous,
AFAIK, current power bi charts not contains any break axis features, chart axis unit are analytics based on source data and you can't manually change them.
In my opinion, I'd like to suggest you add a calculate column with if statement to check records to define a suitable data range and replace outlier value as static value. Then use this column to replace original amount field.

Thanks - somewhat of a newbie here so hopefully you can help me a little bit with the procedure to do what you are suggesting - creating the new column. That seems to be a workaround on a lot of things but I am unsure on how to do it.

Hi @Anonymous,
Can you please share some sample data for coding formula?
