Hi
Is it possible to add thousand separators (as period, not comma) when loading in data from a db, that is in the SQL statement?
I have tried different things such as the FORMAT() SQL funtion, but it doesn't seem to work in Power BI.
Thanks
Hi @Christianvs ,
You can change the thousand separator in Power BI while displaying in the report by changing regional settings / locale. There are many similar posts here in the community. Skim through the community and you will get lot of questions posted on this with solutions

Thanks for the answer @Thejeswar.
My problem is that i afterwards (within the SQL statement) add letters and parantheses to the value so I have to keep the format in chars.
So atm. I have:
1049 kr. (5)
and I need the following:
1.049 kr. (5)
I managed to do it by adding several steps in Power Query, but I was hoping that it was possible to do within a single SQL statement
