Adding data to an existing CSV - Import via folder

Hello,

Fairly new to Power Bi.

Ive imported a folder containing 5 csv files and this works great - Ive combined the files on import to create and individual sales table.

I want to add 3 coloumns to each of those 5 CSV files.

After adding, when I "Refresh Data", the new coloumns or data do not appear.

Ive looked on the forum and found a technique using Advanced Editor - I had added the fields here also and the data still does not appear, in fact I get a error saying it could not be found.

Does any one have any tipes on getting these new fields into Power BI.

I could create another dataset but it would make sense to have it on the existing csv files.

Thank for any help in advance.

Craig

Hey @mrcraigrooney ,

maybe you should post the error message and your approach.

Otherwise it can be a million reasons why it won't work.

Best regards

Denis

I went down a different route on this. Sorted.
