Adding custom/standard views as data sources instead of adding the entire table in Power BI

Hello all,

I have to add dynamics view as a data source in Power BI Desktop rather rather than adding whole table or columns from tablesThis reduces the amount of time required to fetch data from tables.

Could you please guide me or suggest a solution how to implement this?

Thank you

Hi @sp1

Below couple steps I invite you to follow in case you have not tried them yet:

1. Copy the Service Root URL from Dynamics CRM / Developer Resources / Instance Web API

2. In Power Desktop use the connector OData and paste the Service Root URL

Then you will be able to select the items you want to use.

Did it work ? Mark it as a solution to help spreading knowledge.

A kudos would be appreciated
