Adding a projection based on historical data

I'm trying to learn PowerBI and have plugged into a GitHub data source which provides historical daily data.  I'd like to extend the dates into the future and make a projection to forecast 15% increase in daily growth and plot them both on a line chart for a period of time.

I've spent a number of hours trying a variety of approaches but haven't made much progress and was hoping I could get some direction from this community while I continue to tinker.

Below is the historical data that I have as an example.

Not sure if this a task for measures, or if I should be working with the query/table side of the tool on this.

Hi @geoffgarcia ,

I am not clear about your requirement, did you want to create a column with forecast value (increase 15% for each day)? Or you want to show forecast value in line chart? If you want to show forecast in line chart, you could try to refer to desktop-analytics-pane  for details.  If not,  could you please inform me more detailed information(such as your expected output and your sample data (by OneDrive for Business))? Then I will help you more correctly.

Please do mask sensitive data before uploading.

Thanks for your understanding and support.
Best Regards,
Zoe Zhi

Hi Zoe,

I'd like to create a column with forecast value (increase 15% for each day) because the analytics pane doesn't allow me to arbitrarily set growth projections.

Here is an example data set in Excel.

Hi,

You may download my PBI file from here.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

This should be possible to solve with measures.  Share data (which can be pasted in an MS Excel file) to work with.  Also, in a simple table, show the exact result you are expecting.
