I am working with some data from Google Analytics. Most of the information is easy to match up to our existing item table. The main exception is where we use branding in our advertising as this does not live on the item table. Is it possible to add a row to the item table to create a category for branding? I would like for it to appear as the product categories which means it would need to be assigned a number. The information is imported from a SQL Server. I would like to add it manually without adding the field on the actual table the data comes from.
The table is two columns -- Category code and Category.
What I have:
Category Code Category
01 Shoes
02 Jackets
03 Shirts
04 Slacks
05 Skirts
What I want:
Category Code Category
00 Branding
01 Shoes
02 Jackets
03 Shirts
04 Slacks
05 Skirts
Is this even possible?

Hi,
I don't know if this will work for you, but you could give it a go...
In Power BI Desktop go to "Edit Queries" and select "Enter Data" to create a manual table. Create the new table with the sames columns as the table from Google Analytics and enter the missing data. After this you can Append the 2 queries.

This is even more brilliant for its simplicity.
Thank you for pointing out what should have been an obvious route.
