Adding Manager Phone from Employee table

Hey all,

I have a table containing an employee's name, their phone number, and their manager's name. Knowing that the manager's name and phone number are listed where they are listed as employees, I want to add a column containing manager phone numbers. What would be the easiest way to go about this?

Stay well all.

Hope that this will help. Generally, you need 2 tables, one containing just Employee/Mngr and Phone columns that you have. The second is containing Employee, Phone, Manager and you need to create new calculated column to lookup this phone next to the manager

Can you share some screenshot of your tables or sample data?

Here's some dummy data below. I've added in ManagerPhone, but that is what I am hoping to create, so it should look something like that. Taking the phone number from where the manager is listed as an employee and adding it to the columns where that employee is manager.

I'm having trouble getting your link to work, would you be willing to provide another way of viewing the example, maybe describing what steps you took and showing what dax you wrote to make the new column?
