Adding Emails to RLS

I am having trouble adding emails to the row level security. Everytime I try to copy paste the emails with this format "[email], " it shows up with the message "Something Went Wrong" and "Role could not be updated, please try again later". Has anyone dealt with this and overcome it?

When you say you are adding in the emails to RLS, where are you adding this? 

 

In Power BI Desktop or in the Security Roles in the Power BI Service?
