Hi all,
Just a quick question -
I have some tables in BI being populated by SharePoint. This SP lists are updated via PowerApps. There are some rows of Table #1 that I would like to put in Table #2 depending on the value of Table #1's "Title" column.
If the title contains two specific characters at the beginning, I would like to add this row into Table #2. These tables share some similar columns, but they are not identical tables. I'd like to be able to pick and choose what content of the row gets populated into the second table.
Is this possible?
Thanks,
Farhan
Hi , @farhandsome
According to you description ,you need to model the data in Powerquery .
Maybe you will use “merge” or “append” to combine your data.
For more details ,you can refer to following article and video:

If it doesn't meet your requirement, kindly share your sample data and expected result if you don't have any Confidential Information.

Using M in Query editor you should able to do it in a better manner.
In Dax, if you want to copy one from table to table one based on some condition/s. You can do like
Get from Table 2
New Column = maxx(filter(table2,table2[Col1]= table1[col1] && table2[Col2]= table1[col2] ),table2[required_col])
Find and search function can help you get partial match.
