Hi Guys ❤️
I'd like to know your thoughts if my idea is possible or are there any workaround that can be a similar approach.
I have a tracker created in PBI and I want to have a customn column beside the status that can be updated by my team anytime they completed a task. For example: Case number HRC12169153 (row 1) is already completed by one of my team member and he can put something like "Completed" or there could have a check mark or any identifier that this task is completed.. As much as possible, I don't want them to go inside the query editor and just stay in the Report view of my dashboard. 😔
I know it's a big ask but thank you to those who will reply and help me. 🤗
Let me know if you need more information. 😉

Hi @Newbie22 ,
As far as I know ,Power BI doesn't support us to enter string into the columns in Power BI visual.
Power BI will show data which are in data model. Here I suggest you to update your status in your data source, then you can refresh your report in Power BI. Finally, Power BI will show the latest status in your visual.
For example, if Case number HRC12169153 (row 1) is already completed, you can update the status in data source to completed. Then click refresh function in your report.
