Add Gridlines to Secondary Y Axis

Hello,

I have a Line and Stacked Bar combo chart. Currently the field for the line chart is the secondary y axis, where the field for the stacked bar chart is the primary y axis. I'd like to add gridlines to the secondary y axis, but Power BI only allows for gridlines on primary Y axis, and it seems the default primary Y axis is for bar chart values.

Is it possible to either add gridlines for secondary Y axis or select which is the primary Y axis between the two fields?

Thank you.

Hi @matsahiro ,

As far as I know, currently the 'gridlines' feature is applied for the whole visual and only appears in the primary Y-axis tab.

In addition, the default primary Y-axis is the column field and the secondary Y-axis is the line field, there is no options to change it in power bi now.

Perhaps you can submit the requirement to ideas and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas

It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

@matsahiro , I think, there is only one option for gridline, and that shows for both axis.

I ended up just displaying the data labels for certain fields. Thanks!
