I've added some Tables from MS Sql Server.
In one Table is a Date Time Field
now i'm missing the hirachical Structure with Quarter Year Month
like here, i've done before from an Excel Sheet
any hints?
The automatic calendar hierarchy may have been switched off.
Try:
Click the File tab, click Options and Settings to open the Options dialog box
Choose the Data Load page
Select the Auto Date/Time check box.
is checked,
also show Date as Hierachie or similar (i've a german interface)
Hi @rkoehler,
Please check if the data type of [Date_Time] field loaded from Sql Server is set to Date/Time under Modeling tab. If it is Text, it won't show this column as Hierarchy.
Regards,
Yuliana Gu
Thanks, but as you can see in the first picture it is Date/Time.
Have you tried putting your date on the values of the visual? It will automatically show you the date hierarchy.
