Actuals and Forecast

All,

I'm lookig for a way to show the actuals per month up until a specific month. (Selection is done by a filter)

For all coming months I would need to show the forecast.

Any ideas on how to set this up?

Ps. I can't use MaxDate for this as I need to be able to select the month up until which I want Actuals.

Thanks in advance,

Re: Actuals and Forecast

It is very difficult to analyze without looking at the data and just by imagining.
Could you please share sample data or sample pbix?(Please mask any sensitive data before uploading)

Best Regards,
Liang

Re: Actuals and Forecast

@V-lianl-msft I don't see how to add the pbix file, below a snip from the data source I'm using in DEV.

I would like to show, in a table, the Sales up to a specific date and the FCST afterwards.

This specific date is to be chosen by using a filter related to the column Month.

Re: Actuals and Forecast

@Kenny_Be_2406

Can you please confirm wherever we have forecast numbers for future dates/month, for those date Actuals will be 0 or blank?

I know actuals for future doesn't make sense but at same time i have seen some revenue can flow for actuals as (-)ve numbers.

can you please clarify?
