Hello,
I have recently started using Power BI, which I use mainly to visualize a database from an Excel file that I update regularly.
I currently have a problem when I update the data, it completely erases itself from my table which was complete before.
A message indicating a query error appears to me.
So I open Power Query which displays my data. I can see that ALL my data appear as "Error".When I open the advanced editor I can see that it is a "type incompatibility" error.
I don't know how to solve this problem and why it occurs. Does anyone have any idea?
Thank you in advance.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Please kindly refer to this blog:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-data-types
It may be because your data type is wrong.

Stephen Tao

@Anonymous , check there must be some column having an error. Because of data type.
