Hi,
I am hoping somebody can help me. I am trying to download the latest version of Power Bi Pro Trial.
I have been using Power Bi within my company now for 8 months and received notifiation on the Desktop version that I was selected to have access to the Years' Free trial of Pro.
This option has now dissapeared after my holiday and I am concerned I will no longer be able to utilise the free trial.
So I went to the Power Bi site and downloaded the latest update possible. Yet, when I look at May's Release video. I am unable to carry out some of the actions such as:
Reporting: Relative date slicer (preview).
I am concerned I have missed my window of opportunity.
Also: How do I know what version of Power Bi I am currently using?
Leigh
Hi @Leigh_MacKay,
To check which Power BI license you have, you can open Power BI service, then go to the gear icon and select Manage personal storage.
To check which Power BI desktop version you run, you can open Power BI desktop, click File -> Help ->About.
To use preview feature in desktop, you need to enable the preview features firstly, by going to File -> Options and settings -> Options-> Preview Features, select Relative date slicer. For more information, please refer to this blog: Power BI Desktop May Feature Summary.

Open PBI Desktop, click the down-arrow in the top left corner, choose Help then About.
I update monthly and my version is 2.46.4732.581 64-bit (May, 2017). I haven't taken the leap into the Pro Version yet, but that is probably coming soon.
