Action - open in same window

is there an option to call java script as an Action on an image, alternative a way to open a web URL link in the same window as the Report, basically replacing the report.?

AFAIK, current power bi does not support to invoke javascript or functions, they will be blocked when getting data to power bi.

BTW, it also not allow you to do custom with this button image actions. Maybe you can try to configure your web browser to force open new links in the same tab.

Perhaps with  the HTML Viewer visual? Maybe a button and a bookmark or two?
