Access to resource forbidden for Google Drive Files

I've been trying to connect an excel file as a datasource for a Power BI report. The download URL works fine in the browser, however I keep getting Expression.Error: Access to Resource Forbidden.

I tried clear all permissions and reset the credential, but nothing seems to work. This error keeps happening once in a while, more and more often.

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Please follow these steps :

1.Open the excel on web page

2.Go to File -->Select Open in Desktop App-->Copy file path-

3.Get data from web --> remove ?web=1 -->input credential in Organizational account

It works on my side,please try again.

That works fine for OneDrive. But I am trying to troubleshoot google drive files 😞
