Access to Resource is forbidden (Power BI with Log Analytics)

I'm trying to follow https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/log-analytics/log-analytics-powerbi to import log analytics data into PowerBI.  It all goes well until 'You may be prompted for credentials to connect to Azure'

I click on Edit Credentials and no matter what I put into the dialog, it comes back with Access to the resource is forbidden.  I've tried

- Global Administrator account (which correctly MFAs)

- Standard user with the Log Analytics Reader role

- Standard user with the Owner role on Log Analytics

I must be missing something simple, but I can't work out what, and the MS doco isn't helpful troubleshooting any issues like this...

Hi @TwanCat,

Based on my test I cannoy reproduce your issue here. So I suggest you to reopen a case in the MSDN Forum.
