About Language

hi there ;

 

i have a column as below called "delivery date" and as you see it has month name (in turkish ) and year format .

 

even on power bi , i selected english language it seems in turkish also still my date formats ara coming in turkish ,  i need to show dates in english , how can i solve this issue , could you pls help me.

Hi @erhan_79 ,

 

You need to use English version of Power BI Desktop firstly.

Then you can configure the Date in Power Query Editor like @harshnathani  said,

 

1. Right-click the date column and select Using Locale.

2. Change the date type to date and locale to Turkish(Turkey). The result like this,

If it doesn’t meet your requirement, you can create a new date column and check it again.

Date_test = DATE(YEAR('Table'[Date]),MONTH('Table'[Date]),DAY('Table'[Date]))

HI @erhan_79 ,

 

Go to Query Editor.

 

Click on the Icon Format and try Use Locale. Select Date or Date/Time and then format based on your region.

i tried as you explain but again it is coming turkish on pbı desktop date format selection area as beolow , it is not turning to english.

 

it is like something my own program still in turkish but all the options i set up to english allready
