API which uses quotes not working in Power BI

Hi there

I have created an API in a web application called Splunk which uses it's own query language called SPL. The API pulls data for a specific log message which contains one of two possible key words.

However, when I copy this API into Power BI it says there's a Syntax Error and it doesn't like the very first instance of the use of quotes.

I have then tried removing the quotes altogether, and using single quotes, which does not work.

I have tried asking on the Splunk forum, but because the API works in the Splunk web app, it's not technically a problem.

This is a long shot but if anyone knows how I could convert the below text string so Power BI accepts it, that would be great.

I haven't included the entire API but if this would help I can.

sourcetype= applog Authenticated Username Successfully("CXI" OR "VHI")

Hi heytherejem,

It seems that Splunk don't support in powerbi desktop currently, you could refer to Pull data from Splunk and try the suggestions in this idea(Splunk Power BI Connector) to see whether it works or not.
