API query "We cannot convert a value of type Record to type Text" error

Hi all,

I have been following this link to get Geolocation working in PowerBI with IP addresses:  https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Extend-Your-Data-with-Live-API-Calls-Adding-L...

Everything works, but when I press on OK to add the new column I get an error saying:

record.PNG

As you see on the link, I am trying to link to the aip of IPstack.

The IP address in my file is now in the 'All' data type ABC/123 and is of the format XX.XX.XXX.

How can I solve this issue?

Thanks a lot in advance!

hi @Zzzipke

Try to disable the Automatically detect column types and then re-create it again.
