[ACCESS DB] The database has been placed in a state by user 'Admin' on Machine X that prevents ...

Hello,

When I want to refresh the dashboard in Power BI Desktop, I have this error message :

"The database has been placed in a state by user 'Admin' on Machine X that prevents is from being opened or locked"

The database Access is in a server network.

There is no problem when the Database Access is in locale but there will be always this error message if the db is in network.

Can you help me please ?

Thanks in advance !

I finally found the solution :

We have to disable this option in power BI :

"Enable parallel loading of tables" in Options --> Current File, Data Load

This solution only works in the desktop, it still fails when refreshed in the service by gateway. Is there a solution for getting it to refresh in the service?
