A colored module view in Matrix

Hi all,

im trying to build a dashboad on PowerBI desctop to get a visualization of a production module view. I did it in a excell using a macro. Just a simple color coding based on the given code(Style). Basically a color was given according to the list given on a seperate sheet. Same codes are coloring with the same color to indicate the continuation.

I used the matrix in powerBi and got the view without the color.

Any ideas to get the colors on the matrix as same as excel?

Hi @chaturaa

Follow this steps to get your colored module like in excel :

Click on the little arrow of your value field :

table-formatting-1-remove.png

You have to add a rule color

table-formatting-1-color-by-rules-dialog.png

And then fill it with all your rules

Hi @quentin_vigne,

Your solution works fine 🙂 Thank you so much!

Just need a little help. I just need if the first style is equal to exactly the rule that i mentioned, it should show the given color. But in this case the color based on drop down is only giving the option of count of styles and summarization give count and count distinct. Also cannot give a text rule for condition formatting right?

Thank you so much for the support given.
