90 Day New Hire Failure

Hello,

I am trying to create a measure to capture all new hires that leave within 90 days of their hire date using the difference between the hire date and termination date.

 

I tried to use DATEDIFF, but when I start typing my table and column name it will only pull measures I've created.

Any help appreciated!

You can just add an aggreagation function to the column like MAX()

 

Result =
DATEDIFF ( MAX ( Table[StartDate] ), MAX ( Table[EndDate] ), DAY )

The first argument of DATEDIFF is a specific value so you need to wrap your date column in a function such as FIRSTDATE or MIN. Take a look at the pattern in this article which is close to what you are trying to achieve:
