3 month average issues

Hello! I am trying to get a rolling 3 months average and a previous 3 months average.

In the below example for CALL FAILURE (the top row):

The first average would be June, July and August (summed equals 122.58) and the avg would be 40.86.

The second avg would be May, June, July (summed equals 114.08) and the avg would be 38.03.

Below is the share file for assistance. If you have any questions let me know. Also, you will see the formulas that I already tried in the pbix. None of them provide me with the expected results set.

hi,@nmck86

     After my research, You may try to use this formula as below:

Average_Test = CALCULATE([RESULTS_SCORE],DATESINPERIOD('Date'[Date],
    LASTDATE('Date'[Date]),-3, MONTH)
     )

and you be careful of 3 months average

for example

IF

Monthqualified Qtytotal QtyAverge
Jan120.5
Feb780.875
Mar450.8

Then

3 months average=(1+7+4)/(2+8+5)=0.8

not (0.5+0.875+0.8)/3=0.725

Best Regards,

Lin
