1 to * Relationship yields blank results

Hi,

I did a simple 1 to * relationship between a DateTable and Customer table.

I inserted a table visual and no value is showing:

How is that happening? 

Note i have no page, report filter besides the slicers in the screenshot...

I found the solution by casting the column to date from the sql server query and it worked.

is the [TransactionDate] in your Query1 set to date data type?

It might be a dumb question, but do you have any data from March 2019?  This would happen if there were no results.
