This report is a visual encyclopedia of sorts for Winter Olympics. It describes the 15 sports/disciplines in the Winter Olympics, their origins, their entry in the olympics as well as the top performing countries in them. You can also see how the games have progressed over the years in a story format. Other pages describer the top performing countries overall, the most/least competitive sports, etc.
Data Source - All medal winners data has been collected from Wikipedia. All sports information (origins, etc.) have been collected from the official winter olympics website.
One visual thing which I was interested in using in this report was the page turn image to allow people to navigate through the report instead of clicking at the tabs at the bottom. I did this since it gave the report more of a "book" kind of feel. I would have liked if I could have made the pages fit more in the corner to make it look more realistic but could not so I went ahead with the gaps.
I was really interested in telling this story because I feel that Winter Olympics always lives in the shadow of the Summer Olympics games and a lot of that has to do with the fact that not all the countries of the world are involved in the Winter Olympics. But I feel that it has a lot of rich history involved and needs to be promoted more and this was an attempt to do just that.

This is so cool! I cant wait to play with this, while I watch the olympics coming up. Great work.
