As we all know from news reports and documentaries, there is something of an obesity epidemic in the United States. Hearing about it is one thing. Seeing it is another. The first report helps you see the increase in obesity over time in US regions (the maps at the top). The table below the maps shows the increase in obesity on more of a state level. This first report is essentially a remake (a combination) of visual approaches in Excel by Nathan Yau and Chandoo.
