This Power BI report is aimed to show the art of the possible for creating simplistic reports for less Data Savvy Business Users.
The vast majority of industries will have a wide pool of business users which are less understanding of what RAG coding indicates or even, in a specific business scenario, what a low metric/KPI means. This leads to the business needing a simplistic understanding of data.
To me this means that these business users should have access to the content they need at their fingertips. If a metric is low, it is understanding what may have caused it and suggest what a user should be looking at when deciphering the causality. Paired with access to content, this methodology could prove to be vital in any business scenario.
This tab indicates an 'old approach' to dashboards showing the current state of the business. For analysts of data savvy users this is great, however this may be a visual minefield for other business users.
This tab breaks down the report to simple text digestion. It suggests how we may be able to access this data easily, why this scenario may have happened and suggests causalities based of business metrics. This gives an MOT scenario and states what has failed, why it has failed and what to do to fix it.
This tab discusses if the prediction is valid in regards to the model used. Here we want to buy credibility of the user to buy into the concept of predicted scores/confidence ratios. That paired with a showcase of historical accuracy will help the business buy into the predicted values as well as buy into the concept of suggested causalities in tab 2. Credibility is crucial for a business to adopt new processes/assets such as predictive results.
