PAFnow is the leading Process Mining software embedded in Power BI.
The software visualizes millions of rows of data in a process map. It delivers prebuilt automated Process Analysis dashboards and can pinpoint processes with 100 % accuracy to drive corrective and preventive actions.
PAFnow puts Process Mining where it belongs! By embedding it to your Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Office 365 infrastructure, you will have untapped possibilities to improve operational processes with your existing resources.
The Dashboard displayed contains 4 report pages:
Discovery
This is the PAFnow Discovery Page. This report page is the starting point and the center of your analysis. The visuals and report elements on the Discovery Page are tools that help you to understand and analyze your business processes and to receive complete transparency about them.
Automation
On the PAFnow Automation Page you can find out if an investment in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) was or would be worth it. You can look at the degree of automation in your process and how it affects your process performance.
Details of user type show you whether a process step is executed manually by a human employee or automatically by the system or a robot. Additionally, you can see the average automation rate in percent for each activity.
Benchmarking
On the PAFnow Benchmarking Page you can now compare two different process flows at once.
Using the Attribute Filter, you can filter by selected attributes to see how the process, as well as other evaluations and key figures, behave for your chosen selection. On top of both process flows, there are four cards that help you compare the process performance between the two sides
Compliance Analysis
On the PAFnow Compliance Analysis Page you can also look at a process step sequence, in addition to looking at individual process steps. This helps you to find anomalies or compliance violations in your process. For example, you can see if steps were executed in the correct order or which user (employee, robot, or system) performed a step.
The central component of the Page is the PAFnow Case Viewer. It shows the process step sequence of individual cases. You can color individual steps based on selected attributes to quickly find anomalies.

Process Mining offers a data-driven approach to identifying potential bottlenecks and inefficiencies in your operational processes by analysing event data. Power BI, as a powerful data visualization tool, can present the insights gleaned from this process in a clear, accessible manner. Consider companies like https://deusrobotics.com/technology/, that utilizes this kind of data analysis in their warehouse robotics and automation. They can offer insights into best practices for such precise, data-driven operations which heavily rely on process mining.
