You are presented with 5 screens on changing subscription prices and the popularity of specific styles among specific research participants. With the help of this information, you can answer the questions: does the number of students depend on the rise or fall in subscription prices, which styles are more popular in which segment, which styles are most common in dance studios.
This dashboard is based on real data and is made as part of the curriculum.
It was made by Polina Saltykova, a student of the St. Petersburg State Technological University, Faculty of Economics and Management, direction "Business Informatics".
In the analysis, we came to various results:
Surveys have shown that the style of waacking is increasingly appearing in the dance sphere, and hip-hop is also strengthening its leadership position. Afro is slowly but surely gaining momentum, as is dancehall.
Based on the statistics obtained, we can draw conclusions:
The cost of a regular subscription is 7000 rubles, while subscriptions worth more than 8000 rubles are not popular.
The average cost of a master class remains around 800-1000 rubles, but master classes from 1500-2000 are also in demand.
The vast majority of dancers are young people aged 16-25 years of both sexes.
When you look at these statistics, what general conclusion do you draw from them? For most dancers, the price of training is important. However, dancers are constantly evolving, and teachers are raising prices for their skills, so students need to be prepared for the fact that the price tags will constantly increase.
