During the 2017 season of Major League Baseball, the Houston Astros were caught cheating. The team was using technology (use of tech is illegal) to relay signals from the opposing team to their hitters, improving their offensive numbers in the process. The means of the signal-relaying was banging a baseball bat against a trashcan, heavily alluded to in the report.
One dedicated Astros fan was able to record a bunch of the at-bats, then published his findings to a spreadsheet database (a .csv @ signstealingscandal.com). As a PowerBI user and Baseball fan, I decided to visualize the data to see the impact of the cheating in 2017.
For those of you who are into the Baseball measures, I'm only including data from the analysis and my calculated measures follow suit with all standard calculations. Enjoy

I didn't read up on the methodology that the dataset compiler at signstealingscandal.com used...was it just brute force or did he leverage some sort of AI vision recognition software?

From what I read he used some software to recognize the trashcan bangs. Would be a long few weeks to brute-force it!
