Hi Power Bi community!
I want to share with you my personal power bi report for following the Rio Olympic Games. As I have been on vacation (and therefore havent got the time to watch TV ) and I live in Europe, I wanted to have an easy way to follow my favourite countries, so I created the power Bi report shown above.
I have even set alerts to my favourite countries so I am always up to date
The link to the LIVE dashboard seems to break all the time, so try this one instead:
If you want to see it live, check it on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZXY9RZwd3U
and if you want to download it, you can do it here: http://curbal.com/blog/follow-the-summer-olympics-in-rio-2016-with-power-bi
OBS! It requires FREE membership on our site.
Finally, if you want to recreate it yourself, check how we built it here (Part one): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKG9OLIL-Yo
Let me know if you have questions and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

Hi @ruthpozuelo, great effort on the dashboard, wondering whether there is a way to hide the hyperlink , attributed to the flag icons, and simply show the name of the country, without having the whole link, once positioning the pointer on the flag. Could you please help on that and show the formula to add?

I am sorry, but I don't understand what you mean:
Do you mean that when you place the cursor on the icon, the tooltip shows the name of the country instead of the URL?
Thanks for the feedback,

Hi again @t-atgeor,
You can customize tooltips on bar charts but I am not aware it is possible to do on Table visualizations. To display the image you need to use that column as it is marked as imageURL, so I dont know how it could be masked otherwise..
Maybe somebody on the community has a trick for this?

Hi @ruthpozuelo, exactly, image view works fine, nevertheless, will be much more comfortable not having these links to some random pages. If anyone has a solution, for this will be very grateful.

This is not exactly what you are looking for, but if you use a shortener service like bitly.com, then your users will see that instead of a long URL.

Yes, works for me either, used the wrong service, any idea how to implement within a formula, so I dont have to go through 200 countries' links manually?
Thank you, Atanas.
