@ArneHoefkens Can the PBIX file link be updated. As the latest changes dont reflect in the existing link. Thank you so much for sharing 🙂
Hi,
I've updated the file. 😊
Great work - thanks for sharing.
I would suggest to separate the deaths and recovered series into 2 charts - hopefully they continue to run at different orders of magnitude. Combined, it's hard to see any trend in deaths.
Also you might be aware already but the Bing Maps matching of Country names is obscure - beware of "losing" countries on the map.
Is possible to get a copy of your .pbx file as Im curious to see what steps you took to transform the John Hopkins spreadsheets. And whether you used the time-series table. Thanks.
I added the Pbix file. The power query is not optimal because the Spreadsheets change a lot. I made the report without the time-series spreadsheet because they just released it a few days ago.
Kind Regards,
Arne
Very cool! I just finished building a small report this evening. I found the Johns Hopkins google sheets to be a pain in the you-know-what as well. Feel your pain for sure.
I like your use of toggles and layers, that's a cool trick. Will need to remember that one!
I'll post mine soon--I took a different route and thought it might be interesting to animate the map and follow the spread.
Cheers,
Rob
