This is a report designed to allow a Warehouse Manager to plan their staffing levels around the amount of inspections that were planned to be delivered to the warehosue.
The warehouse inspects items being received to four different levels, which all take a different amount of time to complete.
The quickest is A - Paperwork, which an Operative can perform 4.5 inspections in an hour.
The second is B - Visual, which an Operative can perform 3 inspections in an hour.
The third is C - X-Ray, which an Operative can perform 1 inspection in an hour.
The last is D - Full, which an Operative can perform 0.7 inspections in an hour.
The Warehouse Manager wanted to be able to look ahead to the future and see how many operatives they would need in each of the four inspection options on any given day. Whilst the report can be filtered to look at one inspection option, there is also the default option to view the whole warehouse's workload.
On the date chart, the manager can drill down into individual years, months, or days and judge this against how many Operatives they have working. Hovering over any of the options on the date chart, will bring up an explanation of the amount of work required in natural language to help with planning.
The report also highlights where work has been planned for a weekend or a Bank Holiday and highlights this as Overtime on the chart.
